Silver Moonlight

Water, so dark, almost black
Darker, if possible
The sky - the same
Never been darker
May never be bright again

Need to find it
It - The moon
To be the one drop of silver
On a palette of black
But then again
The moon - like God
Can't help you unless
You help yourself
Cant save you unless
You lift your head
Accept its silver rays
Take the hand offered
Raise yourself
Achieve atonement
Realize, regret, move on
And let go

Let go... the hardest part, but
Essential; as is forgiving
Other's and then
Yourself
Forgive, move on , let go...

Stare blankly at the moon
The night grows darker around you

Escape
Before the darkness
Consumes your soul
Overrules your thoughts
And you are pulled into the void
Then..
It's over, there's no more
When it is too dark to see

See the moon in its true image
Se it, believe it
Rise from the ashes
Never been stronger
Having lived through the dark
The dark fire burning the soul
Rise, stronger

Look up
Accept the hand given
The silver moonlight,
Take it to be your own

Revive your soul
Your inner strength
Your spirit

The moonlight,
It is yours,
It is You.

For how else,
Can there be the pure silver moonlight
On a night when
There's no moon in the sky...?
